Japanese inspired ceramics and wabi sabi pottery
slowmade by hand in my London garden studio
SIMPLE SERENE SOULFUL
Two voices, one maker, one material.
Ceramics shaped by both reason and intuition.

My work reflects the balance between my rational mind as a former civil engineer and my creative spirit as a potter. One path is defined by quiet, structured forms, the other by raw, elemental glazes crafted from plant ashes and locally sourced elements. Both share the same intention: to create ceramics that invite slowness, presence, and sustainability. Each piece honors the earth and its cycles, embodying the wabi-sabi philosophy—finding beauty in imperfection and the authenticity of handmade work.
I draw inspiration from the natural landscapes of my childhood in the French Pyrénées, and from Japanese pottery traditions, using hand-carving, hakeme brush marking techniques, and wood-ash glazes to create vessels that balance heritage and personal expression. Each of my piece reflects traces of spontaneity, imperfection, and quiet craftsmanship, celebrating the beauty of impermanence and inviting moments of connection and contemplation. My work is always evolving in a constant exploration around textures, organic lines and natural tones. Simple, serene and soulful, most of my pieces are functional and all are hand crafted from my garden studio in Greenwich (London, UK), where all my work is fired in an electric kiln.

"I believe that as a potter, I have a duty to promote the concept of eco-herence, or coherent sustainability, through mindful practices and ecocaring working habits. As an example of those little gestures which can make a difference, since I started selling my pots online, I have tried to avoid plastic as a ceramic wrapping staple. I have embraced eco-friendly recyclable packaging materials, so don't be surprised if you receive your next order, wrapped in recycled papers and cardboard boxes."
